This team just keeps rolling and rolling. No one expected the Chiefs to be this good straight off the bat, not that I’m complaining. Sunday’s game was certainly the most comfortable of the three games so far but ir wasnt plain sailing.
As usual here are my three top performers from the Chiefs win over the 49ers.
Pat Mahomes
Do you think there will ever be a time when Pat Mahomes doesn’t make this list?
To be honest this wasn’t his best game but he deserves to be on this list purely because of his third and goal touchdown strike to Chris Conley. The way in which he scrambled and then hit Conley with a laser at the back of the endzone was truly breathtaking.
Travis Kelce
Another big day for Travis. Despite not reaching the promised land of the endzone, it was still a highly productive day for #87. His 8 receptions for 114 yards led the team for the second week running.
There was also the small matter of a tremendous one handed grab, something Demetrius Harris could only dream of doing.
Justin Houston
Welcome to the 2018 season Justin Houston. The Chiefs Kingdom had started to worry if he would ever the old Justin Houston game ever again? Well maybe yesterday was the beginning of the re-emergence of one the league’s most feared pass rushers. Against an opponent who had already been sacked 9 times through 2 games, Houston had his fill, getting to Jimmy G for a pair of sacks.
