One to watch
The rookie quarterback was giving his chance in week 4 after Sam Bradford was benched and eventually cut by the Cardinals.
He’s 2-3 in his first 5 starts getting the Cardinals both of there wins this season.
Patrick Peterson v Tyreek Hill
Mahomes is not afraid to challenge the NFL’s top cornerbacks so expect him to throw in Peterson’s direction a lot.
On his day Hill can beat anybody but Peterson has the ability to keep Hill quiet so this will be one to watch.
What they said
Steve Wilks understands there is only so much a defense can do to contain Mahomes and Co.
“I don’t think you can stop those guys completely,” Wilks said. “You’ve just got to hope you can slow them down.”
What we said
“They have Patrick Peterson at corner,” Mahomes said. “They got dudes everywhere on that defense. For me it’s going to be a great test to get to go up against these guys. We’re going to try to be ourselves and keep what we have going, going.”
