The story so far
The best two teams in the NFL? A tip of the hat to the Saints but these two are very firmly in that conversation. Both feature incredible offences, the Rams on paper have the significantly better defence. Expect a shoot out. Paddy Power have the points over/under at 63. I’d still take the over.
Head to head
Chiefs lead 7-4

One to watch
Austin Reiter. Having your 3rd string starting is less than ideal. Reiter has done a reasonable job filling in for Morse while he recovers from concussion. Last week the Cardinals gave the Chiefs O Line fits, sacking Mahomes 5 times. The Rams D Line is a step above that. Donald and Suh could wreak havoc, they can both take over a game. Reiter is going to have to have his A+ game with him to handle them.
Key Matchup
Tyreek Hill v Marcus Peters.
Remember when everyone was spitting chips that the Chiefs traded their best CB to the Rams for a mere 2nd round pick? Peters is a ball hawk, but oh is he struggling this season. Hill and Mahomes have experience on Peters from the practice field. Can they take advantage of his aggression?

What they said
Wade Phillips
“They’ve got a lot of weapons, they give you a lot of problems — like our offense does — and then they have talented players that play well, so it’s a big challenge.”
What we said
Dave Toub
Possessions are at a premium in a game like this. Anytime you get the chance to change a possession or try to steal one, both sides are thinking about doing that if the opportunity arises. That’s why we have to be ready on our end of it. I’m sure they are going to be ready on their end of it too. It’s going to be fun.
